The Dorion Family Pediatric Center has opened in Jacksonville and houses Community PedsCare, a hospice and palliative care center for children that is said to be the first of its kind in Florida. The $10-million, 8,300-sq.-ft. center offers art and music therapy, therapeutic play and bereavement support for children with complex, life-threatening illnesses and their families. It’s owned by Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
