Community Hospice Young Professionals (“CHYPs”) is a collective of young professionals, age 35 and under, who share a common goal of making a positive difference in the lives of those facing serious illness and end-of-life. This auxiliary group collaborates to raise funds for programs and volunteers at events organized by The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care.

Their slogan, Esprit de Corps, derived from the French expression “spirit of camaraderie”, embodies the collective dedication and energy of its members, who are committed to furthering the compassionate mission of Community Hospice & Palliative Care.

CHYPs offers young professionals a unique opportunity to network with like-minded individuals while cultivating their leadership skills and profoundly impacting the community. By joining this esteemed group, members gain invaluable personal and professional growth experiences while championing a cause that resonates deeply with their philanthropic spirits.

CHYPs is back with its annual holiday mixer – Cocktails for a Cause! Join us for an evening of festive fun on Thursday, December 5th at 6:30 p.m. at the Moore family residence in Ponte Vedra. To attend, we ask that you adopt a child’s wish list and bring the unwrapped, labeled gifts to the party. At the event, guests can expect complimentary drinks, light bites, door prizes or more! And don’t forget to wear your favorite holiday attire.
