What an unforgettable celebration we shared at the Kelsi Young Fashion Show on Saturday, August 23rd! The San Jose Country Club was alive with energy, laughter, and style as our community came together to support the Kelsi Young Respite Care Fund. The true stars of the day were the kids as their confidence, smiles, and personalities lit up the runway and reminded us why this fund is so vital. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised essential funds to provide respite support for families in our Community PedsCare program, helping them find care and comfort during challenging times.
If you weren’t able to attend, there’s still a chance to make a difference. Your donation ensures families facing life’s toughest challenges continue to receive the support they need. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us honor Kelsi’s legacy and for being part of this extraordinary day, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Meet Kelsi Young
Kelsi Young was born with medical challenges. Her parents, Leslie and Brian, were hopeful, but their journey was fraught. They were on the rollercoaster of Kelsi’s medical care, financial burdens, and balancing care for Kelsi, her infant twin sister and toddler brother.
They turned to Community PēdsCare for help. On two significant family occasions, they needed someone to stay with Kelsi. Community PēdsCare and others stepped in to make that happen.
Because of this experience, the Young family later created a fund to ensure other families would have the chance for a time of respite. Kelsi passed at 10 months old.
